Welcome to our active judo classes across East Anglia. We offer training for all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced students. All our classes are taught by qualified BJA coaches in safe, welcoming environments.

Wednesday Classes

  • Junior Class (Ages 4.5-12 years): 6:00pm – 7:00pm
  • Senior Class (12 years – Adults): 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Saturday Classes

  • Parent & Child Session: 11:00am – 12:00pm
    Perfect for families – learn judo together! Maximum 2 children per adult.

Special Features: This location offers traditional judo plus wrestling and no-GI grappling sessions as part of our expanded martial arts programme.

Friday Classes

  • Junior Class (Ages 4.5-7 years): 5:00pm – 6:00pm
    Must be of primary school age
  • Senior Class (8 years – Adults): 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Location Note: Located in the growing Northstowe development, easily accessible from Cambridge and surrounding areas.

Getting Started

Free Trial Session

Your first session is absolutely FREE! Just turn up wearing comfortable clothing (tracksuit bottoms and t-shirt) and bring a bottle of water. No booking required for your first visit.

Age Groups & Benefits

  • Ages 4.5-7: Focus on coordination, following instructions, and basic movement
  • Ages 8-12: Introduction to proper judo techniques, grading system, and competition opportunities
  • 12+ and Adults: Advanced technique development, fitness training, and competitive judo

Important Information

Supervision Policy

For children up to age 12, we ask that a parent or guardian remains at the session. This provides extra reassurance for both parents and children and helps create a supportive family atmosphere.
